Lisa graduated from California Lutheran University with a Master’s of Science (M.S.) degree in Counseling Psychology. She holds a marriage and family therapy license, issued by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences and currently provides marriage and family therapy in Westlake Village. While completing her studies, Lisa provided individual, couple and family counseling to low-income families in the Conejo Valley area at the Community Counseling Center located in Thousand Oaks. She also participated in an externship for Conejo Valley Unified School District's SELPA program, providing school-based counseling for middle-school at-risk youth in the Oxnard area.
