My Story
I became a therapist because I have always wanted to help people who are struggling with hardship in their life. I like to help them see through the darkness and come to a place where the light shines bright and their vision is clear. Having experienced divorce, single parenting, remarriage and working out the kinks of a blended family, I know well how difficult the darkness feels but there is light and helping you find your light is what drove me to focus my work on helping people through major life changes/transitions.
I was a bookkeeper before going back to school for my master’s degree. I did this while dealing with a new blended family, and starting my own practice. That was a bit of a life-change! Now, for the past 9 years I have been running my private practice in Westlake Village and serving clients from the surrounding areas. Outside of my work I have a grown son and two grown step-children, not to mention 3 small dogs that love to cuddle.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and beginning to help you as you move through this challenging time!
